Welcome to the Ranger's Home!Ranger Code of Conduct

Behavior Of A Ranger

Rangers hold true to them a set of beliefs which they live and die by. While some might see the Ranger as no better then a savage or an exile, this assumption is wrong. While Rangers do not adhere to the laws of those in the city in their home, they have their own set of moral laws and codes that they each follow. Below are a few ideals held true to the Ranger path, and it's importance in their lives:

Nature's Balance

Rangers believe highly that their must be a certain balance in the wild at all times, for if either side was to grow too strong, chaos would ensue. Therefore, they strive to help maintain this balance however they can. Whether this be hunting down feral predators, keeping poachers away from their forests, or simply helping an endangered animal thrive without detection, they're all things a Ranger does to ensure balance in his home.

Honor

Also important to the Ranger is honor. Living alone in the woods can earn one a reputation as a vandal or bandit. It is important for the Ranger to always have honor and defend it with your life. A Ranger is a man of his word, and will give his all to defend his home and his bretheren. A Ranger must have honor, whether he is a cheerful, happy sort- or the dark, dreary.. loner type. This is a trait noticed right away upon meeting a Ranger in person.

Publicity

Lastly, this is another important ideal held true by all Rangers. As a Ranger, you walk these lands hidden; blended into the brush and trees that surround the city walls. You walk undetected for the discovery of our home and our way of life would be disastrous. We watch you from afar; as you live your life, as you tread into our home. We keep an eye on you and ensure your safety, but you will seldom ever see us unless we wish to be seen. A Ranger is a master of camoflouge, and will do his best to remain unnoticed during his day to day life.

These are but a few things important to a Ranger. So much more could be said, but you would find yourself reading for the next moon.

Ranger Code of Conduct

1. Always be courteous. If a person asks for help and you are unable, or do not wish to, politely tell them you cannot and to ask another Ranger.
2. Try to help if help is needed. For example, you see a person who is wandering around aimlessly, try to direct them, or even better, take them to their destination.
3. Protect nature at all costs. This doesn't mean that you can't kill animals, but be sure not to kill all of them.
4. If you see the Golden bunny in the wilderness, and it is not being attacked, destroy it. Many deaths are caused by this niusance.
5. Information is valuable. If you are caught leaking information to members outside the Ranger path you will be delt with accordingly.

1. Help your fellow Rangers if they need help. You never know when you might be the one needing help.
2. ((Remember that the Ranger subpath is an RP subpath, and OOC chit-chat has no place for a Ranger. Remain in character at all times. If you have to speak OOC, use (()). )) If the conversation is going to be prolonged, take it to whispers.
3. (('Chat Room Lingo' is not allowed. Things like 'g2g', 'plz', 'thx', 'b4', etc. should be avoided at all costs. These ruin RP for those members who are 'hardcore'.))
4. Avoid taking ones form without permission.
