Foraging is a simple skill, often combined with other skills to increase their effectiveness. Foraging ties in especially well with Tracking. Simply put, it is the knowledge of knowing where to attain an item the easiest way and in the most plentiful numbers. Not only Rangers have practiced the skill of foraging however, it is a common skill. The only difference is that the Rangers tend to take note of it as one of their seven skills.
